Kaitesi, the founder of Humanhood Clinics is a senior ENT Surgeon and an honorary senior Lecturer at the University of Rwanda where she served as the academic and clinical Head of ENT department. Before founding Humanhood clinics, Kaitesi served as the International development Director for Africa for Starkey Hearing Foundation.
Kaitesi holds an MSc in Audiology from the University of Southampton, UK, a Masters of Medicine degree in ENT from University of Nairobi, Kenya and a degree in Human Medicine from the University of Rwanda. Her research interest is preventive and curative audio-otology, looking into prevention of hearing loss, early identification, treatment and rehabilitation, with a bias in children. Kaitesi is also interested in medical education, medical ethics and mentorship. She has authored over 18 publications in audio-otology.
